Once upon a time I had a Tumblr. I don't anymore, and I took up Blogger as my new mode of self expression and as a place to display some projects of mine. I love to craft, especially painting, working with fabrics, and knitting. It is an outlet for me. Sometimes I am too tired to be completely original and/or creative, so I have challenged myself to try a lot of Pinterest projects, many of which you will see below. I would also love to start an Etsy shop... so comment to tell me which things you like best!
Below is just a snapshot of the plethora of projects I have enjoyed taking on in the last couple of years. I can't wait to keep crafting.
Paintings:

| This painting was done on papyrus paper, which I think is one of the
prettiest backgrounds. I did this one for myself. "Come Thou Fount" is
my favorite hymn, and this is a verse that I need to both sing and pray
daily. |

| This painting was done for my freshman-year college roommate. She loves
dogs more than probably anyone I know. Especially her dogs. |

| This is a Mother Teresa quote that my mom asked me to paint for her. I
did, and she hung it up in her salon. One of her clients asked me to
paid the same thing for her. It was my first paid project! |

| The same lady that paid me to paint the Mother Teresa quote also paid me for this painting an the one below it. They were special quotes to her children and she gave them as gifts. |

| This is a copy-cat painting that I did for my sweet friend Maggie. She is a free spirit, loves the outdoors, and is full of joy. Dandelions represent that for me, so I found it appropriate. |

| I did this painting for one of my college roomies as a birthday present. I have a certain fascination with name meanings and Bible verses that can go with those meanings. |
Painted Rocks:

| I painted these rocks and made them into refrigerator magnets. The first set went to my mom, and I have made many since then as gifts. I think they are adorable. (Another pinterest copy-cat). |
Fabric Crafts/Yarn Letters:

| My dear friend Audrey and I made these hair bows during one of our craft nights. I believe this one came form pinterest too. They are really cute! |

| These yarn-wrapped letters and the ones below were wedding and anniversary gifts. They really look cute hanging on a wall! Again, not an original idea by me, but they were fun to make, and I got to have some individual expression with the colors I chose and the methods I used to wrap the letters. |

| These are fabric acorns. I want to make a billion of these and sell them as table decorations/centerpieces/shelf decorations. My vision is to make them in all kinds of cute fabric patterns and mix-n-match. |
Paper Mache Painting and Shellacked Coasters:

| I think the first time I saw a painting like this was on StumbleUpon. I had to have it, so I made one for myself. I decided to take my own creative measures, though, and paint the background with a bright color, then paper mache some really pretty (and conveniently leafy) paper that I had on top to tone it down a bit. I then drew out and filled in the tree branches and birds. |

| I have done a TON of coasters for gifts and for myself, these just happen to have my favorite design. They work great too. I have also done this same project with pictures for family gifts. These ones are for sale in my Etsy shop! |
I hope this random and aged list gives you all a little glimpse of the things I love. I hope to give you many more glimpses. Also thanks to Ashley Simpson for this title.
